Online Resource Recommendations

Below, please find a series of online resources that may help you learn more about Gardnerian Wicca, help you to connect with Traditional Gardnerians, or help you in your search for groups.

This website serves as a pagan community space that connects seekers, groups and resources, as well as looks to support pagan makers, creative, and shop owners.  We hope to provide this resource in a sustainable way, which will include community involvement and collaboration, and we will work to preserve this resource for generations to come.

As such, Darksome Moon: An All Paths Pagan Community, is a non-profit and our mission statement is as follows:

To provide spaces for the pagan community to connect, support, celebrate and collaborate with one another.

This group is for ONLINE pagan events and classes, both for posting and finding events to attend. Blessed be!

The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic (MWM) explores British magical practice, making comparisons with other systems of belief, from ancient times to the present day. We aim to represent the diversity and vigour of magical practice respectfully, accurately and impartially through unique, entertaining and educational exhibitions, drawing upon cutting-edge scholarship along with the insights of magical practitioners.

The Doreen Valiente Foundation was formed on the 6th March 2011 as a charitable trust and it took legal possession of the collection of artefacts etc. that Doreen had left in her will to John Belham-Payne.

As well as the document preventing the collection from being split up, sold off or exploited for the gain of any individual, the charitable “objects” of the Foundation were declared in the Deed Of Trust as follows:

  • “To protect artefacts which are important to the past, present and future of pagan religions”

  • “To make the artefacts available for education and research”

  •

The Trustees resolved to set about the following tasks:

  • Seek charitable status from the Inland Revenue and subsequently the Charities Commission.

  • To catalogue and prepare the artefacts for their new purpose, that of exhibition.

  • To begin to give talks about Doreen Valiente and her legacy and to deliver mobile exhibitions of the artefacts.

This forum is open for anyone who wants to ask questions or share ideas with Gardnerian initiates. For the purposes of this group, anyone claiming initiate status has been, or shortly will be, vetted and confirmed.

If you are a seeker and you wonder if our tradition is the one for you, this is a good place to start.

This is a hub and gateway to reach Traditional Gardnerian Wica groups and initiates.  If you are a seeker and you don't see a group listed on our group's website, join the hub and ask in the group.  There are many Traditional Gardnerian groups that either cannot or do not want to list publically, and we may be able to direct you to one of those groups.  Any coven leader answering your questions in this group is from a verified Traditional Gardnerian coven.
